Results of the tentative agreement

Local 52 had a successful vote for our Collective Agreement on September 22nd.

Your Local 52 Bargaining Committee would like to thank our Chief Negotiator Dale Perry for all his work on our behalf.
I would like to thank our Local Bargaining Team for all of their hard work and dedication in getting us to a new Collective Agreement. As well as having to put up with me as the Chair of the Committee. That may have been more work than the actual process itself.

Local 52 would like to thank the University for it's willingness to recognize the contributions of it's Employees in their efforts to come to a new Collective Agreement. Our team's worked many days to reach an agreement that allows us to move forward and have stability for the next three years.

Thanks to all those who helped with the voting stations throughout the day as well. It allowed us to get a few more locations for the Membership to vote.

The agreement is from April1,2015 - March 31,2018
Retro payments will be processed in a timely manner so please be patient with your colleagues in HR who will be working diligently to make this happen. Hope is to have all payments processed by November 10th pay period.
